Our architects work with you on a plan built from scratch. Planning and permitting take longer, and construction usually costs more than a pre-designed plan. In return, every detail, from the layout to the finishes, can be yours.

Our custom home building process

  1. Meet with us and share your goals.
  2. Choose a lot. We give you a ballpark estimate of building costs.
  3. Meet our architect and describe how you want the home to look and work.
  4. Sign a plan design agreement and pay a schematic design fee.
  5. Review and sign our fixed price contract to build the home as designed.
  6. Place the home on your lot with help from a topographic survey.
  7. Work with our designers on your selections. We add them to the contract by addendum.
  8. Stay in touch with the team through permitting and construction.
  9. Make construction draw payments at agreed milestones.
  10. Move in about ten days after the occupancy permit is issued.
